Tuition Classes

Of eight people maximum in atmospheric high ceilinged first floor studio. 

All levels welcome. Groups have included practising professional art-college trained artists and craftspeople as well as beginners and all in-between.

Tuesday and Friday mornings, 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Classes run in 5 week "blocks" with a gap of a week between each block (except for some seasonal holiday variations & other commitments.)  

You can pay by the day, but this is more expensive than booking up for a "block" in advance;  that is, by prior notification and payment in full by the end of the first session of the block.  

A block is either Tuesdays or Fridays: attending both days regularly would count as two blocks.

The studio is equipped with easels, boards, tables & seats, and jars for water and solvent. Bring your own equipment and materials. Large sheets of cartridge and w/clr paper are available for purchase, and "starter kits" can be provided if you want to try out a new media before purchasing.

Provided (and included in rate.) 

You are welcome to pursue your own projects, but for those who want more inspiration or direction I do set themes for each block, with illustrations, handouts or active demonstrations. I then circulate to encourage and advise when appropriate, and am "on tap" to answer questions or give feedback.

A substantial cupboard full of reference: books on artists, and  my own original hand-outs, produced over two decades of delivering structured A.E. courses.
